North Reading Historical & Antiquarian Society

Collections

The Society's collection of historical artifacts and buildings helps to relate the stories of daily life in North Reading from its beginnings as an agrarian community populated by English settlers, through its various endeavors such as shoe manufacturing in the 19th and 20th centuries. The collection is comprised of photographs, furniture, tools, agricultural implements, household accessories, children's toys and games, uniforms, and artifacts related to North Reading's citizens, businesses and clubs.

Donations

The Society gladly accepts articles relating to the history of North Reading. Please provide as much of the human story concerning your item as possible. Other items cheerfully considered.
