17th Annual Apple Festival

Saturday September 17, 2011
The Festival included artisans and crafters,
an apple pie contest, Historical Society merchandise, local entertainment, children’s games and pony rides.
There was also a silent art auction, art raffle, apple pie and ice cream, and food and drink.

Thom Ayers of Danvers, MA will discusses his great-great grandfather, Private Job Fisher of Company C, 101st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry of Claremont.
This living history experience will place you back in the period of 1861-1865 as he talks about the life of the soldier in camp and on the march among other things
